The Honda Foundation and Tynan Honda have given Sylvanvale Foundation’s Day Program service the keys to a new set of wheels – a Honda Odyssey.

Sylvanvale Foundation has been providing support to people with an intellectual disability for more than 60 years and currently provides services to over 600 adults, children and families across the Sydney Metropolitan Region.

Sylvanvale supports over 100 people daily within the Day Program service and the addition of a new vehicle will allow the organisation to offer greater choice and access to community programs. Their services include day programs, accommodation, private therapy, early intervention and respite programs for children and their families.

The Odyssey will enable Day Program participants to travel to and from their activities and appointments at various locations across Sydney.

Sylvanvale Foundation CEO Pauline Stanley said: “We really appreciate the support of Tynan Motors and the Honda Foundation and the use of the Odyssey will make a real difference in the lives of the people we support.”
