The Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, part of Austin Health is a specialist provider of intensive rehabilitation programs, providing a co-ordinated range of medical, nursing, therapy and support services to people with a wide range of disabilities. The Centre offers an integrated range of specialist services to people across Victoria, southern New South Wales and Tasmania.

Rehabilitation is a dynamic process in which a team of health professionals works with the patient, their family and friends to maximize their recovery and achieve as independent a level of function as possible following injury or illness. A rehabilitation service provides a bridge between acute hospital care and a return to community living.
